now that you've seen my work...
Hey! I'm JASON DILLON, a graphic designer and illustrator from San Diego, California. I started designing as a sophomore in high school, and although I wasn't a natural by any means, I decided to keep at it and moved up to Orange to earn my GRAPHIC DESIGN B.F.A. at CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY in 2024.
Right now, I'm a GRAPHIC DESIGNER at THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY just a little farther north in Glendale, working on the DISNEY CORPORATE CREATIVE RESOURCES team. We function like an internal agency, doing work with clients around the company on special events, corporate initiatives and more, but most of my work is done with D23: THE ULTIMATE DISNEY FAN CLUB. I also have experience designing at IN-N-OUT BURGER and BODYKORE, and worked for a stint on the "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" operating the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction at the DISNEYLAND RESORT.
I'm a big fan of ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR and love creating vector illustrations with a retro flair as well as making anything immersive like signage, backdrops, or even projection mapping from time to time. I'm still trying to find my groove in the art / design world, but I know it'll come from knowing more about myself.
I'm also an avid athlete, and still regularly run, play volleyball and do gymnastics, with a little bit of line dancing mixed in there. In the spring and summer, you can find me enjoying the warm sand and cool waves of the WEST COAST, either from the shoreline or the nose of a surfboard.
If all that sounds like we'd get along, shoot me a message! I can't wait to work with you and collaborate on something amazing.

How I Got Here
Sick, you found the secret!!
Every page on my website features a "How We Got Here" section like this one, showing the process of each of my projects and the preparation and revisions I went through to achieve what I hope was the best final product.
However, I'm not exempt from that process either! I've come a long way from where I first began, so I thought I'd link my old portfolios here too. I'm so proud of the strides I've made since these were published, and I can't wait for how far I go in the future too!
