GRAPHIC DESIGNER: Jason Dillon
ART DIRECTOR: Melissa Noriega
While I was a Marketing Graphic Designer II at IN-N-OUT BURGER, our small graphics team was the mighty creative powerhouse behind four social media handles, three organizations and graphics in restaurants spanning half of the West Coast. We designed signage, events, merchandise, marketing assets and more, all while munching down on some Double-Doubles Animal Style.
Marketing Design & More
Designs on the "Double-Double!"
The social assets I created at In-N-Out were normally very time-sensitive, as we were responding to new products being released, ingredients being changed, or charity campaigns with specific deadlines to hit. In the span of 4½ months, I designed over 50 posts or stories, with my favorite being a trivia reel that I did all of the design and motion for.
Outside of marketing, I designed the plaque that sits outside of In-N-Out's first Washington store, a retro sign to hang in the Meat Operations department, and concepts for a Supply Chain Associate hoodie along with concepts for the branding for a charity car cruise.
Also included is the postcard I gave to my Marketing team members before my departure back to Disney, picturing Store #67, the store right outside our office.

How We Got Here
With every project, the process is always the most important part. The successes, failures, twists and turns are all important learning lessons that make a project the best it can be.
There are plenty of revisions on the social media side of posts being sent back and forth, fixing a word or two or placement of palm trees, but these depict ideas for the projects above that could have had much different paths. Cruisin' to Freedom had especially diverse concepts!
