This project was an assignment in my Experimental Graphic Design class during my junior year of college. The prompt was simple and only required us to work with the Chapman University Cross-Cultural Center to develop a way to generate more school-wide knowledge about their WeCU! program. I decided to create an experience featuring an augmented reality photobooth, including deliverables such as a 3D photo booth design and advertising materials like business cards, flyers, Instagram stories, and a nighttime projection mockup. I also created an iPad applet that would be used by patrons inside of the photo booth. The Petemojis, though, were the project's highlight as they made the branding fun and provided a brand new spin on the university's mascot, Pete the Panther. The Petemoji stickers have been printed and are an actual hit around campus, proving their effectiveness in real life.
